in particular, this latest edition of “Newsletter” focuses on Rosenbauer's recent deliveries. For example, the Zeltweg Volunteer Fire Service has put a new TLFA 4000 into operation, thus completing its AT fleet with a third generation vehicle.  

The Bharat Forge Aluminiumtechnik (BFAT) has stepped up its emergency safety levels with the installation of the proven POLY CAFS extinguishing system as a safeguard against the high fire risk emanating from two cutting presses. 

Metz Aerials can report the delivery of three L32-A aerials to the canton of Zurich. These devices are equipped with numerous safety features and a 450kg rescue cage with an extended range of functions.  

You can also read about a Buffalo special vehicle on a Mercedes Benz Zetros 6x6 chassis, which was custom-made to the requirements of the client. Last, but not least, we present a newly published history of Rosenbauer from author Manfred Carrington.

The Zeltweg Fire Service has rounded off its vehicle fleet to perfection with a new AT:
As early as 1996, the Volunteer Fire Service of the town of Zeltweg played a pioneering role in its region with regard to emergency vehicles, when it became the first unit in the Austrian federal province of Styria to put into operation fire trucks from Rosenbauer, which used the completely new, aluminum AT design system. The response generated by this innovative vehicle generation was immense and after eight years of totally satisfactory service, 2004 saw the addition of a second generation AT. Now, in 2011, Rosenbauer has the pleasure of supplying the Zeltweg Service with a new AT in the shape of a TLFA 4000, which thus completes the local fleet with a third generation vehicle. More...

ARFF for an international aid organization
For aid organizations airport operations in crisis areas represent an especially difficult challenge. However Rosenbauer's Buffalo Zetros allows these tasks to be completed with great efficiency and competence. In particular road transport conditions in such trouble spots are frequently characterized by difficult terrain, which have to be overcome quickly and safely by the emergency services. Accordingly the decision to select a reliable ARFF vehicle from Rosenbauer, which in an emergency can be flown in directly to the operational theater in a Hercules C130, was all the more straightforward. In August 2011 a Buffalo Zetros 6x6 was delivered to an international aid organization in order to guarantee optimum fire and disaster protection in regions lacking in infrastructure. More...
