Greater safety for Malaysia’s airports
At the beginning of April 2011, Rosenbauer supplied the airport operator "Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad“ (MAHB) with the first eight PANTHER 6x6 from an order for a total of 19 vehicles. This initial delivery went to the airports in Kota Kinabalu and Langkawi. The remaining eleven trucks will be supplied during this September to Kuching and Penang Airports and the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) in Kuala Lumpur. In May 2011, two swap bodies with engine-pump units were handed over to the Frölunda and Lundby Departments of the Gothenburg Professional Fire Service. These containers are used primarily for first attack purposes in the case of refinery and oil tank fires, but can also be utilized for other extinguishing operations (e.g. tank trucks and forest fires etc.).
